If you take the time to generate one then in the event of a serious problem any ex-perienced computer technician should be able to recovery your computer using the image subject to obvious limiting factors. So that you fully understand what can and cannot be done with the recovery image I will explain further. What A Recovery Image Contains:The recovery image contains all of your data, programs, and the operating system as of the date it was created. Thus if you created your system/recovery image today and next week decided you wanted to restore it then the entire com-puter image would be rolled back to today. Any new programs installed, any files you changed, deleted or added locally since the image was created would be lost. Data stored on the cloud would not be af-fected. However! If a competent computer technician did the job they would ensure that prior to us-ing the image they secured the files and they would not be lost.Recovery images are not the solution to backing up your data as you need a dif-ferent process to achieve this. Windows only allows one recovery im-age to be stored on a given backup device. (some fancy foot work can bypass this limitation but you need to be familiar with the process to do so)What A Recovery Image Cannot Fix.A recovery image cannot repair a hard-ware problem. Thus a faulty hard drive, faulty memory or faults with the mother-board will NOT be repaired by using your recovery image. Obviously this means if your computer suddenly stops working you should con-sult a computer technician and NOT rush into using the recovery image. There is absolutely no doubt whatsoever that if you have created the image you are in a much better position than if you have not. Caution: There is no way back once you recover your computer with the recovery image so exercise caution on using it.Visit my online blog listed below for links to tutorial videos and further information on this subject. §Call us on 041 9886545 for an appointment.Email: bettystowndental@gmail.comWeb: www.bettystowndental.ieTriton Road, Bettystown, Co. This is a family-friendly event and parents are wel-come to bring their fami-lies to see and hear the delights of the orchestra.Come to see the wide range of instruments to choose from in the orchestra. The string section has violins, violas, cellos and double basses. The wind and brass sections can have flutes, piccolo, oboes, clarinets, bass clarinet, trumpets, French horns, trombones and bassoons. There is also a very exciting percussion section complete with timpani drums, bass drums, snare drums, cymbals and a glockenspiel as well as many other smaller percussion instruments. Visitors will have the opportunity to watch an open rehearsal under the experienced baton of Conductor Ailbhe Kirkan, while the young JYO musicians practise the wonderful music they are to perform the following week for the JYO end of year junior concert in the Drogheda Arts Cen-tre. The open rehearsal will be followed by a Q&A session with Ailbhe and the JYO musicians where children will have the opportunity to find out about a variety of orchestral instruments. Primary and secondary school children are invited to become members of the Julianstown Junior and Sen-ior Youth Orchestras and be introduced to classical music in a fun and friendly manner. The Julianstown Youth Or-chestra was founded in 2011 by Maria and Fergus Sheil. It now has approximately 100 members organised into jun-ior and senior orchestras. The junior section of over 40 members, consists of mostly primary school children, under the direction of conductor Ailbhe Kirkan. These blossoming musicians are looking forward to performing for friends and family a their end of year performance of classical, popular and contemporary music in the Drogheda Arts Centre on Sun-day 26th May. The JYO senior orchestra comprises of over 60 very talented young musicians from the local area. Together with their On Saturday May 18th, between 10am and 11 am, JYO will offer a fun, informative insight into what young musicians in JYO get up to, and how you might join them on your journey! © May 2019 The Meath Coaster43Laytown Tidy TownsSummer is on the way, and we got a taste of summer weather over the Easter weekend! It was great to see so many people enjoying the beaches be-tween Laytown and Bettystown. It’s a shame that they had to leave so much rubbish behind them though! The estuary of the Nanny at Laytown was particularly bad with teenagers meeting up to sunbathe, swim and of course jump off the bridge.... Thankfully a small group of people who were walking on Tuesday morning took it upon themselves to pick up the litter and remove it from the beach, along with at least ten towels! We really appreciate their work restoring this lovely spot! Thanks are also due to the group who cleared all the bottles and rub-bish from the Seafields on Easter Saturday. We have finished the restoration of the flowerbed near the railway sidings and, if we say so ourselves, it looks great! Our next project is the raised bed which will be located on the side of the road near Sonairte. We will use recycled sleepers in the construction of the bed and will plant pollinators and shrubbery in it. The walkway will be in front of the bed and a wildflower meadow will be behind it. This meadow will house bee hotels, insect hotels, and some bird boxes. We plan to start work restoring the boat flowerbed on the grassy area overlook-ing the beach. This will require sanding it down and repainting.......any volunteers who’d like to give us a hand??? As always, you are welcome to join us even if it is just for a little while. The more people who take part the more we can get done! If you are interested come along on any Saturday morning between 10 and 11am for a chat! §musical director, Fergus Shiel, the group has had the opportunity to perform at many prestigious events, including the National Concert Hall in February where they received an achievement award from the Irish Association of Youth Orchestras. They performed with the Dublin Youth Orchestra in the Solstice Arts Centre in Navan in March and are currently rehears-ing a variety of music for their trip to Por-tugal in June to collaborate and perform with a youth orchestra there. Julianstown Youth Orchestra also facilitates tuition in a wide range of instruments and has an instrument rental policy particularly for some of the more expensive and less com-mon instruments. Come and join your local youth orchestra at Coláiste na hInse on Saturday 18th May between 10am and 11am for a fun hour of exploration and discovery. It could be the beginning of a long musical journey for a player who would like to develop musical skills and make new friends with a shared interest. I own a cat – or maybe the cat owns me? – but only because cats are the least needy of animals and pretty much look after themselves, occasionally demanding a cuddle and food and that’s pretty much it. We had a dog when I was growing up, a lovely German Shepard that adored my dad, but he was needy, a bit slobbery, oc-casionally smelly, and forever in search of food. He ate the entire Christmas ham one year which was just out of the oven, and then hid for a day, ashamed of himself, stuffed to the gills and possibly with burns in his mouth. He broke all our hearts when he died aged 17.In 2009, when it felt like the world had lost its mind and we saw our future be-come very murky and uncertain, and our household income slashed to almost noth-ing, I spotted a tiny black kitten in a pet shop, and on complete impulse, bought him on the spot.He played a huge roll that year as a distraction. He man-aged to get trapped under the decking, stranded on the roof and caught up a tree all the first few months. He brought out a very caring side in the kids and liked nothing bet-ter than having Mr. The View massage his tiny paws every night, cuddled in his lap. Nothing takes away the pain of losing of your job, but that cat was an antidote Oasis Childcare Centre Mornington Co. We probably should have called him ‘Hope’ or ‘Rea-sons to smile’ but we named him Setanta just because I liked the name. Now I know that people discussing their animals is not very fascinating so bear with me while I indulge myself this month, and I’ll give you some useless facts that might get you points in a pub quiz. Cats are wild animals and very good hunters, and when he runs past me sideways, I know he has either a mouse or a bird between his jaws. It took me a while to reconcile myself with that side of his nature, but like most of us, time has mellowed him, and now it’s rare for him to catch anything. He spends most of his time lolling about or play fighting with his besto, who lives next door. Cats sleep 16 hours a day, and groom them-selves for an average of 2 hours when awake. They can run at 30 mph, and they know their name but choose not to answer to it, and they rub against people to establish own-ership, so yes, we are his pets, but most interestingly they purr at a frequency that promotes healing, and strengthens bones. Chilling with a purring cat on your lap is not only deeply re-laxing, it’s good for you.Setanta is 10 this month so this is by way of a Happy Birthday tribute to his overwhelmingly positive contribution to our house-hold, with apologies to any neighbours who’s gardens he may have used as a loo… §BG PAINTING & DECORATINGInterIor & exterIor25 YEARS EXPERIENCE REFERENCES AVAILABLEFREE CONSULTATIONS & ESTIMATESWALLPAPER ALSO AVAILABLEContact Brian 086 7308449Call Nicky - 041 9887128 087 7734344 A Local BusinessCosmic Cleanwww.cosmicclean.ieT&Cs & Minimum Charge appliesMAJOR DISCOUNTS for Multiple RoomsRug Collection & Delivery Service AvailableProfessional Carpet & Upholstery CleaningSPECIAL OFFER!Noel SavageElectrical Services20 Years Experience • Security LightingFuseboard Upgrades • Rewires, Extra Sockets • Lights, Fully Insured and RegisteredNo Job Too SmallBettystown, Co. Meath© May 2019 The Meath Coaster46Life Check-Up!When you apply for life insurance, you may be asked to complete a medical exam. While the life company will pay for this medical exam, it is also worth-while booking a medical check-up whether you are applying for insurance or not. What does a health check-up test for?The medical check-up determines your risk of developing a range of health prob-lems, such as heart disease, kidney dis-ease, stroke and diabetes. It also provides you with an opportunity to gain practical advice on how to minimise the risk of de-veloping these issues.Unfortunately, leading a healthy lifestyle doesn’t mean you won’t develop health is-sues, though it will limit your risk. A medi-cal check-up can flag problems before they develop into something more serious. What to expect from a medical health checkA health check generally lasts around 20-30 minutes and is usually carried out by a nurse, but it could be another healthcare professional. You shouldn’t need to pre-pare anything in advance, but it’s always worth asking the health centre you’re booked in with. During the check-up, you may be asked: →If close relatives have had the illness-es you’re being assessed for →If you smoke and how much →If you drink alcohol and how much →What your typical diet is like →How much exercise you doAfter this, you’ll undergo a series of sim-ple tests and measurements, including: →Your weight and height to determine your body mass index (BMI) and your waist may be measured →Your blood pressure will be taken us-ing a cuff on your upper arm →A small sample of blood will be taken from your finger to check cholesterol and possibly blood sugar levelIn most cases, you’ll receive the results immediately. You’ll be given a risk score (the higher the score the more likely you are to develop one of the illnesses) and will receive advice on how to adapt your lifestyle to lower risk. What are the benefits of a medical check-up? According to the Irish Heart Foundation, in 2016 more than 9,000 people in Ireland lost their lives to cardiovascular disease with almost half dying from heart disease. The Irish Heart Foundation argues that in many cases, heart disease and stroke are preventable. Lifestyle changes such as regular exercise, having a healthy diet and stopping smoking, can have a positive impact when treating diabetes, high blood pressure and cholesterol. What now?Choosing the right life insurance cover for you and those closest to you is important and will provide many great benefits and peace of mind. Don’t let the fear of a med-ical check-up hinder your decision.Contact Oran on 087 668 6624 for more information or visit www.drumgoolebro-kerage.ie.
