With both games throwing in at Dunganny at the same time it was a case of supporters frantically switching from one game to the next trying to keep tabs on the scores. In the end it was a great day for the club as Duleek Bellewstown and the St Oli-ver's combination team were defeated to claim an outright success. Well done to the entire squads and mentors of both teams and the supporters who travelled far and wide this season. A season that started at the end of January proved a long one but ultimately a very successful one with county and provin-cial honours finding their way to Piltown. Well done again to everyone and we hope that you enjoy a well-earned rest over the Christmas period © January 2019 The Meath Coaster61AGMThe Club Annual General Meeting takes place on Monday 14th January at 19.30 in Piltown. All welcome to attend to re-flect on a wonderful 2018 and to look for-ward to an even more exciting 2019 and beyondSuicide Awareness Workshop - 21st JanWe are hosting a suicide awareness work-shop in Reált na Mara Primary Schools, Donacarney on MONDAY 21st JAN. The event starts at 19:30 and will feature a host of speakers including the legend and good friend of our club Dr. Harry Barry . We ask EVERYONE in the club to sup-port this event and to come out and to hear the messages. Keep an eye on social me-dia for further announcement and details on this eventGet Involved In 2019The club goes from strength to strength with growing numbers of teams, activi-ties and events. We simply cannot have enough help and support. If you would like to get involved on or off the pitch in 2019, have an idea to help the club or if you are new to the area and would like to consider playing with us then please con-tact us on info@cilles.com and we can get you up and runningSuper Scor Semi FinalOur Stage Presentation team had a very enjoyable day at the Leinster Scor na nÓg Semi-finals in Oldcastle recently. Our young team really did us so proud in front of a huge crowd and missed out on the semi-final by a mere 4 points. What a great experience for the young team who have learned so much. Bright days ahead 3 All Star Awards For The ClubCongrats to our 3 All Star winners this month. Orla Deegan and Ellie Brodigan won Meath Ladies All Stars based on championship performances. Orla won a Royal Star (Senior and Intermediate Well done everyone on a super 2018. We wish you all well for 2019Congratulations to All Star Orla© January 2019 The Meath Coaster62Championship) whilst Ellie was a Green Star winner (Junior A -C) championship. What a great achievement of both play-ers and is an endorsement for the club's excellent performances in 2018. We look forward to some brilliant days and many more awards for our ladies teams in the years to come. Well done to David Bell who won a Lennon Cup (Louth schools) All Star for his performances with St Marys DS this month. Hard luck to Luke Brady and Oran Kinch who were also nominated for an award. Like the ladies awards David's win and Luke and Oran's nominations are a testament to the hard work of all the club panel and coachesClub Lotto - We Need Your HelpAs we come into the winter season, on field activity does die down a little as teams and pitches take a well-earned break. However the club continues to re-quire funding for day to day costs. Our Club Lotto is our key driver for day to day funding and central to meeting our day to day costs. the best way to be in with a chance to win and to contribute to the club is to play online at www.cilles.com - re-sults will be sent to you weekly and week-ly/monthly or annual playing options are available. We need your support so please help if you canCarroll Estates - Cois Na Mara Volun-teers Of The MonthA huge well done to our November and December Volunteers of the month - Sam Madden and our Volunteers behind the Drogheda Women's Refuge Collection. Congratulations to David David Bell on winning a Lennon Cup All Star for 2018Congratulations to All Star Ellie© January 2019 The Meath Coaster63National Draw TicketsThe GAA national draw tickets are now in circulation. Priced at €10 each every penny raised goes back to the club. A very fine list of prizes are available from cars to shopping sprees to all Ireland weekend events. Every team has now been allocated tickets to sell. This is huge fundraiser towards day to day running costs and one that offers great prizes and a chance to win. Please supportThe Cilles Coaching Conference - Jan 19thWe ask all our coaches to "save the date" - January 19th of our first annual coaching conference. The Conference which is an integral part of the coaching pathway will feature a host of guest coaches including Paudie Butler, Emmet Egan and Philip Kerr and will prove an excellent start to the year. We look forward to seeing you all there ! §The presentation photograph will be in-cluded in next month's addition but there can be few more deserving winners. Sam Madden is Cilles to the core and has a long association with the club playing all his underage and adult football with us and serving at all levels of administration. The first man to put up his hand for any task he is a car parking and ticket seller ex-traordinaire, a supporter that is out in all weather. He is also our Health and Safety officer and always keeps an eye on eve-rything. Our Women's Refuge collection goes from strength to strength under the leadership of Fiona Kelly, Elaine Smith and Sheena Elliott. The 2018 event has surpassed our greatest expectations and shows the generosity and kind thoughts of our membership and supporters. Well done to all our Cois na Mara Volunteers of the Month and we look forward to work-ing with you all in the months and years to come.© January 2019 The Meath Coaster64RELIGIOUS SERVICESSTAMULLEN - JULIANSTOWNwww.dioceseofmeath.ie/parishesFr Declan Kelly PP Tel: 01 8412647Preston Hill Stamullen Tel 01-8412647e-mail secsj@eircom.netST PATRICK’S CHURCH STAMULLENVigil Mass Saturday 6pmSunday 10:00am10am Mass on Tuesday and ThursdayFirst Friday, please contact Parish for information.Confessions Saturdays from 6:15pmST MARY’S CHURCH, JULIANSTOWNVigil Mass Saturday 7pmSunday 11:30amWednesday, Friday 10:00amConfessions Saturdays after Vigil MassSACRED HEART (LAYTOWN) Fr.
