We face for-mer finalists Na Fianna in the first round on Sunday 7th April at 1:45pm in Trim. Our Junior team have a local derby when they take on St Patricks in Duleek on Saturday 13th April and the Junior D team are in ac-tion on Monday 22nd April v Clonard, that game at home. All three teams have had good starts to their league campaigns and will hope to bring that good form into the championship. We are very proud of both teams. A special word to all our representatives on the Meath men's team who have returned to Division 1 for the first time in 13 years - Ben Brennan, Graham Reilly, James Con-lon, Club GPO Niall Kane and our former team manager Colm Nally who is now the county coach. A special word to two other Cilles members, Brian Mulligan who cap-tured the promotion moments in his role as official photographer for the team and to Junior D player Sean Perry who com-mentated on the crucial Meath Fermanagh game for BBC Ulster. What a special day. Hard luck to Meath in the final. A hard fought final saw them lose out narrowly to Donegal. We had two busloads of sup-porters on the day and all had a wonderful timeCois Na Mara Volunteer Of The MonthOur March winner of the volunteer of the month is the hugely popular Brian Emmet. A total sports fanatic and super Cilles supporter, in his role as caretaker at Colaiste na hInse he is known to so many people. Always at every game, support-ing our players, opening and locking up, every club needs a Brian Emmet. Our senior team have had the toughest openings imaginable with former king-pins Seneschalstown and Boardsmill being our opening opponents. Displays have been very heartening and will stand us in great stead. The Division 5 team bounced back from a last minute loss to Trim to record an excellent win away to Donaghmore Ashbourne. Once again dis-plays have been excellent and both teams can look forward to great timesMinor League Final Good luck to the minor boys who play Si-monstown Gaels in the Division 1 league final on 6th April in Dunganny. Throw in is 1pm. The boys have reached the final unbeaten and have displayed great guts and skill to reach the big day and we wish them the very best for the final and cham-pionship later in the summerUnderage Round UpAll our Go Gaes and Little ladies teams have returned to action and the pitches are awash with noise and colour. At com-petitive football the u12 boys and girls leagues have commenced and you can follow reports on www.cilles.com. Our u13 boys have reached the County finals of the Indoor Pella tournament and Cross County League and our hurlers are in Cross County finals also. The U14 boys were unlucky to lose out in the semi-final of the Feile Peil tournament and our u14 girls teams are all competing strongly in their leagues and we look forward to great success. The u16 boys and girls leagues are in full swing and the girls u16 Divi-sion 4 team are top of their league. Well done to everyone.
