Opening hours are Friday, Saturday and Sunday 10-5.
Sonairte is a visitor experience which promotes a love of the outdoors, organic produce, eco-awareness and sustainable living. We have been located at The Ninch, Laytown for over 30 years and the centre is run almost entirely by dedicated volunteers together with Tus and Community Employment (CE) scheme hosted staff. The centre is open to the public, and we also take bookings for organised groups, whether school or college tours, special interest groups, gardeners, active retirement groups, dawn chorus or bird watching groups etc. or various courses. Our walled garden is producing tasty, organic produce that protects and supports biodiversity. Sonairte is a place like no other and has something for everyone. Stroll the Walled Organic Garden, explore the Nature Trail, have a picnic, visit our Shop and Information Centre, follow our Heritage Trail or call into our Bee Museum.
CHRISTMAS MARKET
Come join us on Saturday, the 18th of December for a Christmas Market at Sonairte filled with lots of lovely crafts, foods, gifts, kiddies activities and plenty of Christmas cheer! Venue: Long Hall ( 11 am to 4 pm)
Our Eco Shop
The Sonairte Eco Shop has a strong focus on organic, zero waste, plastic free, people and planet friendly, low carbon footprint living. Wherever possible our products are locally produced or are Fair Trade.
Our popular vegetable boxes are also still for sale.

Children’s Art Exhibition – COP26 and Climate Crisis
