Its been a long hard journey but most enjoy-able and I’m sure everyone will agree, worth every Friday night of it. Now that the Mid-Term break is over its time to consider putting your child’s name down for the enrolment period beginning 8th April 2017. Annual membership continues to remain at €10, with your fully completed appli-cation form. As the minimum age for any child wishing to join is 11 years, a visual inspection of a Birth Cert may be neces-sary where there is doubt over a childs age. Application forms including the member-ship fee will only be accepted from Friday April 8th @ 8:00 p.m.We’ll take this opportunity to welcome Noel and Martin, our newest volunteers who answered the call in January to join and help out in the club and assist an al-ready group of dedicated volunteers. Noel has slotted nicely into looking after the Table Tennis area giving advice, training and tutuoring whereas Martin has taken a shine to demonstrating his footie skills and helping Tony out with the youths playing Basketball and Football. We would also like to welcome 3 young ladies, Sinéad, Cadhela and Aoife who joined up with us last month also as Youth Leaders. Between them they kept them-selves busy helping out with the Face painting, Nail Art, running a Bingo night and giving out prizes and also managing the shop. Busy – Busy - Busy. Its great to see they also all completed their Vol-unteer Training Programme’s with Youth Work Ireland Meath in Navan. So well done!!!Volunteer TrainingOf course the rest ot the BDLM club vol-unteers have been busy attending courses over the Mid Term period. In compliance with our code of practice, February 25th volunteers were re-training for the Child Protection Awareness Training in Navan, which is mandatory every 2 years. On March 3rd the volunteers attended Emergency First Aid Training with Niall Edwards of EMS & Associates, the Health & Safety consultants, to ensure we are all capable of providing basic levels of first aid in the event of an accident or illness occuring in the club which thankfully has been very few and far between. If you’re reading this and are interested in becoming a volunteer/youth leader in this Youth Club or just want to enquire about membership for your child, you are wel-come to come in to the club on any Friday evening from 8p.m. onwards in the main hall of Coláiste na hInse to meet and chat with our current volunteers. Alternatively for any other enquiries call 089 469 4242 or visit us on our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/EastMeathY-outhClub. to find out more information. §Print & DesignFlyersBooksBookletsInvitationsCardsPostersSignageProvidingProfessionalPrint Services to The Meath Coaster Since 2009OPEN9am - 5pmweekdaysA5 Colour Flyers2,500 - €1255,000 - €17510,000 - €275* Excludes artwork + VATSpringFlyerOffer19 Fair Street , Drogheda041 980 3135 / 981 0505info@beulahprint.ieExclusive toMeath CoasterReaders!March 2017 The Meath Coaster ©8Bunscoil Buachaillí Réalt na MaraJunior & Senior Infants celebrated Chi-nese New Year in style at Bunscoil Buachailli Realt na Mara ...The boys enjoyed learning about Chi-nese New Year & China.
